The 2024 competition is now open. A total of $8,000 ($7,000 for VetSRA portion, plus a $1,000 student top up) for each student is available to support one DVM student’s participation in research related to animal welfare. Funded projects should benefit animals (directly or indirectly), foster awareness about issues of animal welfare, and encourage leadership among students.
