The Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre (SJDAWC) is calling for proposals from AVC faculty members for the 2026 grant competition. There is approximately $200,000 available this year for research, service, and integrated projects that benefit the welfare of animals.
Investigators must submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) before applying for a SJDAWC grant using the form available on our website. Applications submitted without a NOI will not be considered and will need to be resubmitted the following year.
Deadline for Notice of Intent (all project types): September 11, 2025, 3:00pm
Deadline for Full Applications (all project types): October 16, 2025, 3:00pm
