The Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre (SJDAWC) is calling for proposals from AVC faculty members for the 2025 grant competition. There is approximately $152,429.00 available this year for research, service, and integrated projects that benefit the welfare of animals.

Investigators must submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) before applying for a SJDAWC grant using the form available on our website.  Applications submitted without a NOI will not be considered and will need to be resubmitted the following year.

Deadline for Notice of Intent (all project types): Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 3:00pm

Deadline for Full Applications (all project types): Wednesday, October 16, 2024, 3:00pm

Any help required with statistics/epidemiology, please reach out to Dr. Henrik Stryhn (hstryhn@upei.ca).
